EZ Electric Power Steering for the MG C Series 1 (T-Bar)

The MG C was produced between 1967 and 1969 as the powerful six-cylinder version of the popular MG B. Thanks to its smooth 2.9-liter inline-six engine, the MG C offered significantly more power and torque, setting it apart as a comfortable GT and sporty touring car. The early Series 1 (T-Bar) model is now a beloved classic among collectors and enthusiasts of British sports cars.

However, due to the extra weight of the six-cylinder engine, the MG C is noticeably harder to steer than an MG B, especially at low speeds, when parking, and when maneuvering. The EZ Electric Power Steering solves this problem without compromising the car’s original character.

Our electric power steering system was specially developed for the MG C Series 1 with a T-bar steering column and provides light, precise, and comfortable steering, while maintaining the authentic steering feel at higher speeds.

As with all EZ Electric Power Steering systems, the entire power steering system is fully integrated beneath the dashboard. This preserves the original look of the engine compartment, and the conversion is virtually invisible.

The original steering system is retained, and the installation is fully reversible. This preserves the historical value of your MG C while significantly improving driving comfort.
