The Volkswagen T3 Transporter (also called Type 2 T3, or “T25” in the United Kingdom) is an iconic van that was produced from 1979 to 1992. It was the third generation of the VW Transporter series, and the last with the classic rear-wheel drive and engine in the rear. The Volkswagen T3 (also known as the Type 2 (T3) or Vanagon in Europe) was sold in North America under the name Volkswagen Vanagon.
