The original Datsun Z is a very drivable car when in good condition. The original rubber clutch in the steering column is very soft and not suitable for sporty driving. We at EZ Power Steering have developed a completely new steering column without rubber. We also made the power steering unit speed sensitive with extra damping at high speeds. This makes steering comfortable at low speeds, but still gives plenty of "feel" at high speeds. The complete EZ Power Steering unit for the Datsun Z is hidden under the dashboard.
